Terms & Conditions

 

 

By booking a session or using services provided by Captured Impressions, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Services

Captured Impressions provides custom life casting services. Each piece is handcrafted and unique, and slight variations, textures, or imperfections are a natural part of the artistic process.

 

2. Payment Terms

A 25% deposit is required at the time of your appointment and is collected prior to the start of the session.

The remaining balance is due in full upon completion and prior to receiving the final product.

Completed sculptures will be held for a minimum of 3 months from the date of completion. After this time, unclaimed pieces may be subject to disposal at the discretion of the artist.

 

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24–48 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred at our discretion. 

 

4. Client Responsibility

Clients agree to:

Arrive on time for scheduled sessions

Follow all preparation instructions (Allow access to water, set up small working area) 

Disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or sensitivities

Captured Impressions reserves the right to refuse or stop a session if safety, comfort, or cooperation is a concern.

 

5. Nature of Service

Body casting may involve physical contact and, in some cases, sensitive or intimate areas depending on the session type. All services are conducted in a professional, respectful, and safe manner at all times.

 

6. Artwork & Turnaround Time

Each piece requires adequate time to cure, dry, and be hand-finished. Typical turnaround time is 8+ weeks, but may vary. Larger or more complex pieces may take longer.

Timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

 

7. Pickup & Shipping

If shipping is requested, it is done at the client’s risk. Captured Impressions is not responsible for damage, delays, or loss once the item has been shipped.

 

8. Image Use & Privacy

Captured Impressions may photograph completed work for: Portfolio, Website, Social media. No identifying information will be shared without consent. Clients may request that their piece not be used for marketing purposes.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

Captured Impressions is not liable for:

Minor imperfections inherent in handmade artwork. Allergic reactions or discomfort. Damage occurring after pickup or during shipping. Delays outside of reasonable control.

Accidents may occur, Captured Impressions will not be held responsible for damage to property, surfaces or personal items. 

 

10. No Guarantees

While every effort is made to achieve the highest quality result, the final appearance of each piece may vary due to:

Movement during the casting process

Material behavior

Natural differences in the human body

 

11. Website Use

All content on this website, including images and text, is the property of Captured Impressions and may not be copied or used without permission.

 

12. Changes to Terms

Captured Impressions reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
